Rugged terrain, rocky outcrops, and dense forests characterize the hills of the Aravalli Range. The highest peak in the range is Guru Shikhar, located in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, which stands at an elevation of 1,722 meters (5,650 feet) above sea level.
