In this blog, we have dissected the entire 2023 PG CLAT paper for you so that you can get a better idea of the overall paper.
Difficulty level of CLAT PG 2023
Was this year's paper difficult for the aspirants? Umm...Not really. Aspirants said although the paper was not tough, it was certainly somewhat different than the previous years.
Some found the paper lengthy since there were more application-based questions than direct questions relating to provisions and case laws. The test also included problem-based questions, a lot of which could be answered by the passages. However, the case laws questioned were not from recent years.
So, the difficulty level falls between easy-moderate.
Subject Wise Distribution
Unlike previous year's question papers which focused more on contemporary issues, the 2023 CLAT test shifted from this trend. There were no questions on Family Law, Jurisprudence, and Torts. Only one passage dealt with recent issues, ie Russia-Ukraine war.
This year's paper consisted of 12 passages. Few passages included questions that comprised two or more subjects. Few questions were directly related to case laws, however, the case laws were not very recent.
Passage No.
