About the Competition: This edition of the National Moot Court Competition at the School of Law, NorthCap University, features the Republic of Tokugawa, which has been classified as a developing country by various international organisations. The current government intends to accelerate infrastructure growth, and the various state governments also promote it.

Eligibility: Students from a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB program (1 team per program per institute).

4. Call for Chapter for Edited Book Titled ‘Gender Justice- Contemporary Developments': Deadline 30 April '24

About the Book: This edited book is a testament to our collective dedication to this cause and offers a roadmap for advancing gender justice in the contemporary world and beyond. Sexual difference is the major characteristic which paved the way for gender inequalities and denial of injustice to women.

Themes and Subthemes

  • Gender Understanding: Basic Connotations
  • Feminist Jurisprudence: A Theoretical analysis
  • Legal Frameworks for Promoting Gender Justice
  • Gender Rights in Law and Policy
  • Gender-Based Violence and its Impact on Society, etc.

All the above themes are not exhaustive. Authors are free to choose any other topic that falls within the domain of the main theme.

Deadlines: The abstract should be sent to ili.genderjusticebook@gmail.com by 30 April 2024. A list of selected abstracts will be notified by 15 May 2024. The full Chapter is to be submitted by 30 June 2024. The ideal length of the chapter is a minimum of 3000 words. Chapters must follow the JILI (Journal of Indian Law Institute) formatting and citation guidelines

Publication Details: The book will be published by the Indian Law Institute/reputed publisher with ISBN. 

Submission Guidelines: Chapter proposals should include a title, abstract (300 words), author(s), bio(s), and keywords.
