Eligibility Criteria for CLAT UG 2021

  • No upper age limit specified.

  • 10+2 or equivalent.

  • Percentage Eligibility- Gen/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI – 45% SC/ST – 40%.

CLAT UG 2021 Syllabus

  • English- 28- 32 questions

  • Legal Reasoning- 35- 39 questions

  • Logical reasoning- 28- 32 questions

  • Current Affairs including GK- 35- 39 questions

  • Quantitative Techniques- 13- 17 questions 

  • (150 Questions of 1 mark each)

How to apply for CLAT 2021?

  1. Visit the official website of the Consortium of NLU’s: click here.

  2. The application can be filled through online mode only.

  3. You are required to register using a valid email address and contact number for OTP validation.

  4. Once the phone number has been verified you can thereafter login using the contact number and password that you have generated.

  5. Fill all the details deliberately and cross-check once before pressing on submit button.

  6. Select your preferences among the 22 National Law Universities.

  7. None of the details or preferences can be modified after successful submission.

  8. Pay the requisite application fees online through the payment portal using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI.

  9. Upload all the necessary documents.

  10. Click on Submit Button.

What are the documents required during registration?

The documents required at the time of the registration are hereby mentioned:

  • Latest Passport size photo (front-facing with white background).

  • Signature of Aspirant.

  • Educational Documents.

  • BPL Certificate (If Applicable).

  • PWD Certificate (If Applicable).

  • SC/ST/OBC Category Certificate(If Applicable).

  • Original documents are submitted to Universities at the time of admission.

Availability of CLAT 2021 Admit Card

CLAT 2021 admit card will be made available in the first week of June 2021. The exact date will be displayed on the official website itself. You will have to keep checking the official website frequently.

22 NLU’s for CLAT UG 2021

A total of 22 National Law Universities will be accepting scores of CLAT UG 2021. (Along with the details of total seats allotted for CLAT UG 2020 Examination). NLU, Delhi (23rd NLU) conducts their own exam ‘AILET’.

CLAT 2021 Answer Key

CLAT 2021 Answer Key will be released by NLUO Cuttack. It is said to be released in the month of June 2021. All the candidates will be required to check the answers by visiting the official website only as it will be published through online mode.

Using the CLAT answer key, candidates will be able to predict their marks before the declaration of results.

CLAT 2021 Cut Off

Cut Off will be based on many factors such as no. of students appearing for CLAT UG, candidate’s marks scored in the examination, the difficulty level of examination, and much more. CLAT 2021 Cut-off will be the minimum marks that candidates have to score in order to qualify for the exam. Cut Off will be made available after the result declaration. Only those candidates will be invited for counselling who will reach the cut-off criteria.

CLAT 2021 Result

The Consortium of NLU’s releases the CLAT 2021 result a few days after the release of final answer key. The result of CLAT 2021 will be released online and the appearing candidates will be permitted to check their marks scored in the said exam through the registration portal. Along with marks, the CLAT result also elucidates the rank of the candidate and their qualifying status.
