Does the Candidate need to have studied Legal Studies in Class 12th to apply for CUET?

Candidates do not need to have studied Legal Studies in Class 12th to apply for CUET 2024. It is one subject that candidates must select in the application form to apply for BA LLB/BCom LLB courses offered at participating universities during the counselling process. 

The question paper will include legal studies as one of the sections, and upon qualifying for that section, candidates will be eligible for admission to law courses. Class 12 students from any stream, even without legal studies, can apply.
